HAHAHA! Thanks for the update! Every time I recycle a toilet paper roll I think of you. Does that sound weird? It's mostly in a now that I know people collect these, I wish I had a friend close by who needed these way :)
Oh my gosh, this totally just reminded me.. Last year when I was living in Japan, I was riding the subway and I noticed a grandpa and his young grandson that were sitting at the very front of the train. They were looking out the window right behind the conductor (are the guys called conductors on subways?!). The little boy had a set of binoculars made out of toilet paper rolls and decorated with brightly colored red, yellow, and blue tape.. He looked out the windows with his binoculars and got soooooooo tickled when another subway passed us in the opposite direction. It was precious. I think the binoculars were the best part :)
LOL just today hubby found my stash in a drawer in the bathroom, he thought it was one of the kids who had put them there and was going to throw them away. I ran like a mad woman to stop him.
I'm still keen to know what you are going to DO with them.
ReplyDeleteI'm telling you, i'm obsessed with them too!
ReplyDeleteWhen I decide on what to make, I'll let ya know...I'm still unsure...but it'll be something awesome.
